Cheryl is a Senior HR Consultant at EEF - She is an experienced HR Manager with 20+ years in Generalist Human Resources Management roles within both the public and private market sectors. She has worked closely with unionised and non- unionised environments in both Sectors of her career.
Cheryl has experience in both local and Global HR management positions, within the Public and Commercial sectors. She has a practical understanding of general HR and employment law in USA, Nigeria, Singapore and Europe. She has worked within the Ministry of Defence working closely with Tri Service and Civil Servants and in previous roles held both HR Leadership/Management positions within Local Authority, MOD and Manufacturing sectors.
Her wide experience covers all areas of HR management, including stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and internal communication management. Absence management, coaching and mentoring, change management, culture change, mentor training, recruitment and selection. Cheryl is an expert in supporting complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, and redundancy issues, succession planning, and HR strategy and policy.
Cheryl also offers up the skills of being a trained mediator.
