Clare (FCIPD, MA HRM) is a Senior HR Consultant at EEF. She offers significant employee relations, HR strategy and organisational change management experience. During her +25-year HR career she has a record of delivering major projects that have improved employee engagement and retention, developed a proactive and high performing workplace culture, enhanced operational efficiency delivering bottom-line return and supported business strategy.
Her wide experience covers all areas of HR management, including absence management, coaching and mentoring, change management, culture change, mentor training, employee relations, equal pay, recruitment and selection, complex disciplinary, grievance and redundancy issues, succession planning, talent management, outplacement, HR strategy and policy, TUPE transfers and Learning and Development (succession planning, career development paths, developing graduate training programmes).
Prior to joining EEF, Clare built up a wealth of HR experience in manufacturing and engineering, charity and government sectors, working for large, multi-site unionised and non-unionised companies, including Tata Steel, St Regis Paper and GEC ALSTOM. When living in France, she also spent three years in a consultancy role helping European and US companies to expand into the UK, and has set up two HR departments from scratch.
