Roz leads EEF’s work on the interlinked areas of climate, energy and environment policy. This includes keeping member companies up-to-date with any developments and representing their concerns in discussions with the UK government, regulators and other policy makers in London and Brussels. Key issues for manufacturers in this area include competitive electricity prices, the costs and opportunities of decarbonisation and circular economy policies, and ensuring an efficient regulatory regime for environmental issues post-Brexit.
Prior to joining EEF, Roz worked for nine years as an environmental journalist. Roz studied Biology and Geography at the University of Bristol and has an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College, London.
