↓ UK TradeThe UK's total trade deficit worsened to £3.0bn in March, compared with £2.7bn in February. The deficit on the trade in goods worsened over the month, as good exports fell by £0.1bn but goods imports rose by £0.5bn. The services trade surplus improved slightly.
↑ Index of ProductionManufacturing output rose 0.2% between March and February, and 1.1% in the first quarter of the year. Output for the production industries as a whole rose by 0.7% over the month, but only 0.2% over the quarter.
