EEF’s survey on internet connectivity in the UK is now live and ready for businesses to participate in.

In recent weeks the Prime Minister announced that by 2020 everyone will have a legal right to request a 10Mbps broadband connection as a minimum. But will this meet the requirements of manufacturers?

Your response to the survey, which covers internet speeds, connection type, cost and cyber security will allow EEF to speak more authoritatively on this crucial subject and help to shape EEF's policy positions in what is set to be a crucial year for the future of digital provision in the UK.
The survey closes on 31st December.

Key facts from our previous surveys:

  • Broadband internet is the second highest priority for investment across all infrastructure sectors
  • Digital networks are rated as the worst network in terms of quality across all infrastructure sectors
  • This is despite broadband networks being rated as improving the most in quality across all infrastructure networks over the last two years
