Well yes, it can and is. Through our partnership with EEF over the past three years we’ve been extremely proud to support Britain’s manufacturing businesses. But why is Aldermore continuing to work with EEF and its members by sponsoring the fantastic Future Manufacturing Awards? It’s simple really. We’re dedicated to supporting all of Britain’s vital industries but we have a particular strong link with manufacturing and believe that a solid manufacturing base provides a ripple effect of commercial benefits to the wider economy.

Since the financial downturn, the status of UK manufacturing has grown continuously, proving that the industry isn’t quite as ‘dead’ as some would have us believe. Instead it’s not only flourishing but has become somewhat of a role model and is rightly the envy of the Eurozone.

How has that happened? Well it’s down to steadfastness, innovation and the sharing and showcasing of best practices, products and processes by businesses like yours which ensure that British manufacturing stands at the forefront of world manufacturing.

Celebrating and showcasing the diversity of our manufacturing prowess is what these awards are all about. It gives each and every one of you the opportunity to show your peers the fantastic work you are doing in such areas as innovation, increasing productivity, developing the next generation of manufacturers, devising new products and taking those products to the global market to name but a few.

It’s these fantastic stories that convince us that supporting Britain’s manufacturers is the right thing to do and encourages us to continue to provide the funding needed to ensure the ongoing success of businesses like yours.

During the three years we have partnered with EEF, we have had the privilege of judging some amazing award submissions. There hasn’t been a year where we haven’t been deeply impressed by the sheer calibre of the submissions, the people behind them and the stories they have to tell.
