Jim is responsible for developing and growing EEF’s membership in the South of England He leads EEF’s policy and external affairs activity in the region, making sure members gain maximum value for their membership, utilising services and support available. By working with partner organisations and regional media, Jim is able to raise the profile of EEF member companies locally and nationally. He’s also in charge of designing and delivering a programme of regional events which enable members to share best practice, network, and learn from industry experts.
Prior to this, Jim was EEF’s operations manager in the south-east. Before that, he was a senior manufacturing specialist as part of the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) team, also in the south-east. He has held manufacturing, production engineering and operations roles at EMI Music and Entertainment UK. Jim is a director of the Engineering Development Trust.
