Business Growth and Efficiency Support in Humber

How can businesses get ready for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and all the changes it will bring throughout the industry?

Following the Government’s recently published white paper on the development of Industrial Strategy, EEF is working with Humber LEP to help gather evidence to ensure that a place-based strategy for the Humber is based on business needs.

At this event, EEF will outline the principles underpinning the Fourth Industrial Revolution to ensure that business responses are informed by the new technologies and techniques that will change the products, processes and supply chains involved in every aspect of industry.

This event we will explore a number of issues:

  • What is the outlook for business for the next 5 to 10 years?
  • What are the competitive advantages and disadvantages of operating in the Humber?
  • How can growth and productivity in business be improved, and what are the barriers and challenges?
  • What can government and their agencies do the help or hinder plans for growth?
