Sir John Kingman, Chair of UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) is confirmed as guest speaker at the CBI’s Business Insight Conference on Innovation.
The panel session in the morning will focus on “driving a culture of innovation through your business; exploring how to ensure your workforce embraces innovation and embeds it into the day-to-day work”. Panelists include: Dr Megan Ronayne, Regional Manager Midlands, EEF, Dr Nick Kotecha OBE, CEO, Morningside Pharmaceuticals, Susan Hallam MBE, MD, Hallam Internet and Chris Warkup, CEO, Innovate UK.
During the conference Interactive Workshops will include the following:
- Overcoming barriers to innovation – University of Nottingham
Professor Simon Mosey, University of Nottingham will share examples of organisations large and small, from the public and private sector that have found novel ways to overcome barriers to innovation.
This session will conclude with a checklist of approaches that delegates can consider developing in their own organisation.
- Fostering a culture of Innovation and Agility – Ricoh UK
Mike Baddeley, Head of Innovation and Strategy will examine what does agility and innovation actually looks like (and what it means!), how can space, technology and process influence an organisation’s mind-set and the fundamental building blocks to driving cultural change.
