East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Birchall Foodservice and Progrex IT solutions have partnered for a special breakfast meeting on food manufacturing.

This is an essential event for food manufacturers and their suppliers, especially operations managers and MDs. EEF’s Membership Engagement Director – North, Richard Halstead, will speak on applying Industry 4.0 to manufacturing.

Among the other speakers is Chris Russell from the Manufacturers’ Alliance who will discuss choosing the right approach to improve and sustain efficiency in manufacturing operations. Other topics covered during the morning include efficiency, developing healthier products, food safety standard V8, and R&D tax credits.

There will be the opportunity to network and to go on a depot tour at Birchall Foodservice. A light breakfast will be provided at the event.
