In this event we will illustrate STEM careers to young people and teachers and will also enable businesses to showcase their opportunities.

F1 Showcars ( Sponsored by EEF)

With realistic formula one racing simulation and feedback, the F1 Simulator is guaranteed to give you an experience not to forget. It includes three authentically positioned race seats, a built in sound system, virtual reality goggles and force feedback steering wheels and pedals.

University of Sheffield, Theatre of Engineering 

Will demonstrate how each engineering discipline is used in the construction and testing of a space rocket. There will even be a prize competition to send something into space for three lucky winners!

HeppSY Mobile Classroom


Will be delivering exciting activities and presentations, to ensure that students are more informed about higher education and the choices that are available to them.  They also look to engage with parents and teachers, as they recognise they are important influencers of students.

Vulcan to the Skies trust with the Build a Plane Project 


Will display 2 planes from the Spirit Of Goole project, which has taken two and a half years and has seen more than 50 young people building their own light aircraft, a British design and manufactured kit plane called The Sherwood Ranger.

The British Armed Forces 

Will explain how engineering helps the armed forces to keep Britain safe. As part of their display, they will be bringing a Foxhound Vehicle.
