Most manufacturing businesses realise the Fourth Industrial Revolution is an important tool for companies looking to compete in the global economy. However, many UK SMEs are still uncertain about how to apply digitisation to their own operations. This event brings together three perspectives – business investment, new skills and new technologies – to equip manufacturers with the confidence and tools needed to become 4IR leaders.
Held at automotive part manufacturer ZF Lemforder in the West Midlands, the event includes a presentation by company Director Tim Kibble on their investment in the latest robotics technology as well as a tour of their facility.
Jonathan Lee Recruitment, an expert in recruitment for industry, will also share their advice for manufacturers on the new roles needed to power 4IR and how to fill those skills gaps.
Finally, the Manufacturing Technologies Association will lift the lid on new technologies available today to manufacturers looking to boost their productivity.
