Founded in 1978 and based in the North East of England, Altec Engineering Limited provides mechanical and electrical engineering support and CNC precision machining services to a broad range of markets and industries throughout the United Kingdom. Altec also designs and builds jigs, fixtures and special purpose equipment and the company is a system integrator for a number of technologies such as robots, lasers, joining technologies and pressing systems from some of the industry’s leading suppliers.

We have established a reputation as a first class manufacturer of press tools and jigs & fixtures and our CNC precision machining capability extends from conventional milling and turning through to CNC EDM spark and wire erosion. Components produced by Altec can also be treated with a number of surface finishes including Vibro Deburring, Aulminium Bead Blasting complimented by our our Plating facility.

Our in-house skills base and resources means that we excel in the field of Special Purpose Equipment and as system integrators for a number of industry leading manufacturers, our systems encompass the latest technologies.
