Nigel is responsible for development and delivery of both public and in-house training as part of the Learning and Development team. He joined EEF in 2009, delivering a wide range of programmes, from open training and accredited courses to bespoke consultancy, working closely with businesses to design training that meets their needs and business objectives.
His range of capabilities spans most disciplines in leadership, management, customer service and trainer skills development. Nigel also has experience and expertise in training need analysis, e-learning and project managing initiatives such as Investors in People.
Nigel has successfully trained and coached in such organisations as Siemens, ABB, Diodes, Tyco, and Crystal Global in (UK Australia USA Saudi Arabia) to name just a few.
Nigel has worked in the manufacturing sector for many years as well as other sectors, including the education industry where, prior to joining EEF, Nigel was a self-employed training consultant, working for clients such as Durham University, University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Sheffield University. Nigel has also worked in hospitality and services sector.
