This seminar will guide you through the topic of gender pay reporting requirements which, from April 2017, became mandatory for employers with 250 or more employees. This involves providing six separate reports, including overall gender pay gap figures, gender bonus gap information and proportions of male and female employees in quartile pay bands – so much more information than most employers had bargained for!

HR managers, Finance Directors, Members and Non Members should attend.

By attending this seminar, delegates will:

  • Understand the legal requirements for reporting on the overall gender pay gap, the gender bonus gap, the proportion of men and women receiving bonus pay and the proportions of men and women in each of the four hourly pay quartiles.
  • Know what you need to do, when, and how best to do it.
  • Consider the potential consequences of gender pay reporting for your business.
  • Consider how you might best present your figures, what metrics you might voluntarily publish to set your figures in context, and what 'narrative' you might provide. 
  • Appreciate what benchmarking may be applicable for your organisation.  
  • Learn how to identify the causes of your pay gap and what steps your organisation might take to seek to narrow the gap.
