UK Steel Innovation Day 2018

27 September 2018

UK Steel is staging a one day, free of charge event in London’s iconic Science Museum, showcasing the high level of technical innovation taking place in the steel industry.

Showcasing the high level of technical innovation taking place in the steel industry, the dynamic people driving the sector forward, and the opportunities the sector represents throughout the supply chain, this event is an opportunity to hear the leading innovators from our sector and learn how R&D can unlock the potential for a sustainable steel industry.

Chairman for the day will be Chris McDonald; Chief Executive Officer of the Materials Processing Institute. The Institute carries out industrial R&D in advanced materials, low carbon energy and the circular economy, supporting the materials, processing and energy sectors for over 70 years.
