EEF Venues has announced the winners of its ‘Colleague of the Year’ internal rewards and recognition scheme. With nominations coming directly from colleagues, the programme is a fair and unbiased way of recognising the tremendous efforts made by individuals and teams across the three venues, and at every level of the business.

Simon Widgery, conference and events manager, took the title at Broadway House. Simon has been with EEF Venues for fifteen years, during which time he has seen the venue develop into a thriving commercial operation. For Simon, it’s all about having a customer-focused approach and building rapport with clients.

Matthew Parsons, executive chef at Woodland Grange, was singled out for his commitment to the business and his genuine passion for skills development.

Kim Shields, executive chef at Engineers’ House, continues to impress delegates with her delicious food and high service standards.
