Officials from all major cycle sport disciplines gathered at Engineers’ House Bristol conference centre
on 24th January for one of five nationwide conferences led by the Commissaries and Referees Commission and supported by members of staff from British Cycling’s Cycle Sport Department.
Forty delegates attended the event at the award winning venue to share good practice and to discuss regulation updates.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Engineers’ House has been chosen to host the conference.
Kathryn McClelland, officials education officer with British Cycling, said: ”Our delegates love returning to Engineers’ House. The location is ideal for delegates from the South West, Wales, the Midlands and beyond and we always receive positive feedback on the quality of the venue, service and food.
“It is great peace of mind to know that Martyn Bowen and his team consistently provide excellent support leading up to and throughout the conference.”
Martyn Bowen, venue manager, said: ”Repeat bookings account for 78% of our business so we are always delighted when clients return to the venue. Customer satisfaction is everything, particularly in a hospitality business where we are only as good as our last smile.”
