EEF Venues’ Woodland Grange conference centre in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire is to host Food Manufacture’s Food Safety Conference on Thursday, 22 June 2017.
The theme of the conference is ‘Food Safety 2020: preparing your business for change’ and its aim is to share details of the changes expected over the coming years.
The event, chaired by Professor Steven Walker, director general of Campden BRI, will highlight what should be on manufacturers’ food safety radar, and he will report on a unique industry survey of Food Manufacture’s readers into managers’ biggest concerns.
The one-day event will examine how Brexit is likely to affect food safety regulation and will explore moves towards a more risk-based approach to policing the sector. Guest speakers will provide a raft of practical advice on everything from creating a food safety culture to allergen management.
David Vaughton, director of venues for EEF Venues, said: “Best practice, particularly when it comes to food safety, is high on our agenda at Woodland Grange and throughout our three venues. It is an honour to host this high profile and stimulating event which will see experts and operators from across the food manufacturing industry gather at our residential venue.”
