Extensive experience in corporate communications, policy and public affairs. With multiple and challenging diverse business sectors experience, Richard has led successful advocacy campaigns to international level, engaging stakeholder relationships and counsel to senior executives. At Make-UK, Richard is an integral part of the organisations policy and advocacy work on EU Exit and international trade policy and heads our Regional Membership team aa they support the manufacturing sector interests across the UK. He has spearheaded our diplomatic engagement in the UK and internationally to extend the reach of the manufacturing voice.

Jim is responsible for developing and growing the Make UK membership in the South of England. Jims network and engagement with manufacturing leaders helps businesses connect and gain maximum value for their membership with Make UK. By working with partner organisations and regional media, Jim raises the profile of Make UK member companies both locally and nationally. Delivering a regional programme of events, Jim ensures members benefit from share of best practice, networking, learning from industry experts and champion manufacturing in the South.

Janis is the Membership Director covering Wales. Janis joined the Make UK business development team in 2015, moving swiftly to the position of Regional Manager for Wales. With her wealth of local knowledge and a firm grasp of the manufacturing sector in Wales, Janis took the position of Membership Director in Jan 2020. Janis’ focus is to ensure that Welsh manufacturers are represented at Welsh Government and national Government level. She works tirelessly to ensure the sector is supported to help Welsh manufacturers prosper and grow.

Dawn is the Regional Membership Manager for the North East Region, Dawn joined Make UK in early 2020 and brought with her a wealth of local knowledge having held a number of roles in both the public and private sector. She has a good track record and an endless passion to help businesses transform their challenges into opportunities. Her focus is to ensure the North East Region is firmly on the map and that the manufacturers are supported and kept informed of policy, latest sector trends and to help you and your business make valuable and lasting connections.

Annette has joined Make UK in 2012 and as a Sheffield resident, Annette is alive to the sector’s vital contribution to the local, regional and UK economy. Educated at Sheffield Hallam University in Leadership and Management, herself an entrepreneur, company secretary and active in the local community, Annette uses her business acumen and industrial insight to represent and optimise outcomes for our sector across the region.

Lois joined Make UK half way through 2021 as the Regional Membership Manager for the South East and South West of England. Working towards ensuring members maximise the value of their membership and access to Make UK's wider service offering and manufacturing community.

Chris joined Make UK in early 2020 as Regional Membership Manager for the Midlands & East of England. To ensure members gain maximum value for their membership, utilising services and the industry support available as part of the manufacturers organisation. Delivering representation for the sector within the region and nationally. He has both an undergraduate and masters degree having read Human Geography.
