Welcome to the HR Bulletin, a quarterly snapshot by level, company size, sector and region to help you understand the recruitment and retention market, with:

In addition, for each quarter of 2024, we will examine a key HR topic in focus which for Q1 is flexible working, due to be introduced as a new right for employees who will be able to request these conditions from their first day of employment. 

We have found that many manufacturers continue to accommodate requests for hybrid and remote working where it is possible. And while some are also looking to other forms of time flexibility such as compressed hours, nearly 1 in 5 have instituted a minimum number of hours on site in the last 12 months as they try to find the right balance for their business.
